Elevator links are important devices for hanging an elevator with drill hook, being an intermediate link between them. Elevator links can be divided into two types: weldless links and perfection links. Weldless Link & Perfection Link are used as a connecting link between the drill hook and the elevator, and to lift the drill string or casing and tubing during release when drilling or pumping a well. All Weldless Link & Perfection Link are designed and manufactured in accordance with API specification 8A/8C.
A distinctive feature of the elevator links is their composite design. The upper eye for connecting to the hook block, the lower eye for connecting to the elevator and the string are made of forged alloy steel with subsequent heat treatment.
Elevator links are commonly used to suspend elevators from top drive systems, hooks, brackets, etc. A wide range of sizes and lifting capacities are available to meet the needs of any type of drilling job.
